Enhancements for XR6 & F6 turbo vehicles

Cobra uprated valve springs - a necessity when power levels rise to avoid valve float, misfiring & potential engine damage. Total cost to supply & fit $850.00

Cobra intercooler package to suit the standard over-engine plenum consisting of; a large air to air intercooler; stainless piping; silicon hoses, & all clamps. The intercooler itself is also part of the Cobra Stage 2 upgrade package, so would not need to be purchased if a Cobra 2 kit was to be installed at a later date. Total cost to supply & fit $1790.00   

Cobra uprated fuel injectors - accurately calibrated for total fuel control. Sold on a change-over basis, the total cost to supply & fit is $880.00. Note that these can't be used without engine management revisions.

Turbine housing upgrade for the o.e. turbo includes; remove turbo/manifold assy & separate. Remove turbine housing for cnc machining & installation of an oversized relief valve. Reassemble with a higher pressure actuator & reinstall. Total cost is $1180.00, but there will be some tuning revisions required at extra cost if no other upgrades being carried out at the same time. Expect up to 15 kw more at the wheels on the same boost level. The revised turbine housing may be supplied on a change-over basis if in stock & time is an issue.

Cobra Stage 1 upgrade package, includes; supply & fit valve springs & injectors; flash tuner & custom edit, & Mobil 1 service with genuine oil filter. Outputs vary between vehicles, but you could expect approximately 320kw at the engine, or approximately 250kw at the wheels. The total cost is $3595.00

Cobra Stage 1+ is all of the above, but also with the Cobra intercooler package, for an output of approximately 300 kw at the wheels. Total cost is $5385.00

Cobra Stage 2 kit consists of; a new plenum which relocates the throttle body towards the intercooler outlet; uprated intercooler & injectors; battery relocation kit; revised air intake including cold air box; custom alloy rocker cover garnish; required wiring, adapters & hardware, flash box & custom edit. Depending on restrictions in the exhaust system, expect 300 - 330kw at the wheels, generally without the need for valve springs (due to a free flowing intake reducing heat soak). This package is adr & epa approved, which is extremely uncommon in the aftermarket performance industry. It is also the basis for outputs beyond 400 kw at the wheels (with a built engine) which are not achievable with the factory intake system. Total cost is $8250.

There are higher output packages available, & the option of building a blueprinted & forged bottom end is available for the serious owner.
