Herrod Motorsport have available aftermarket camshaft packages for your Boss 260, 290, 302 or 315 engine.

In testing, Herrod Motorsport have been able to have revised lift and duration, specific lobe separation angles for each engine thus resulting in increases in bottom end response to mid range without any losses in top end performance. Cars that already have the usual exhaust & intake mods that get a set of cams & a custom tune see approximately 30rwkw extra at the rear wheels, & 50nm extra torque throughout most of the rev range. We generally also replace the oil pump for a heavy duty Mellings unit at the same time. The camshafts themselves cost around the $1200 mark for the set, plus the labour to install them. For a nice lopey idle & great midrange improvement, these are the go. But if you want to get really excited :-

Note that due to higher compression ratios, the BF/FG 302 & 315 engines are not suitable for supercharging.
